1- POT PRIMER FOR PROTECTION & ISOLATION

PRIMER

DESCRIPTION

Conventional anticorrosion primer for marine environment to be applied on bare and scoured metal.

Primer for protection and adhesion on wood before application of filler.

Nautix PC primer is used as a barrier coat between two paints also improving their adhesion.

It ensures reliable protection and preparation of bare wood.

Nautix PC is easy to use (one coat is enough).

COMPOSITION

Chlorinated rubber resin, aluminium paste, synthetic resin.

Colour : buff.

Finish : gloss.

PREPARATION

The surface must be free from grease (Degreaser Nautix SD), clean and dry. Any loose paint must be removed.

APPLICATION

Shake and stir thoroughly before use.

Do not apply under 10°C.

Application method : brush, roller, spray gun.

Recommended number of coat :

bullet1 coat if PC primer is used as barrier coat between two paints
bullet3 coats is PC primer is used as conventional anticorrosion protection

Thinner - Cleaner : Nautix DA - Maximum dilution : 10 %

Recommended wet coat thickness per coat : 100 microns.

Recommended dry coat thickness per coat : 50 microns.
