PRIMER

DESCRIPTION

P.O. is a real one-pot polyurethane resin, formulated with DESMODUR^®E, which hardens by reacting with moisture in the air.

P.O. is easy to use in most weather conditions (temperature above 0°C).

Applied onto a GRP hull, it highly reinforces the watertightness of gelcoat and is a very efficient osmosis prevention system.

COMPOSITION

Varnish : pure 1-pot polyurethane DESMODUR^® E.

Solvents : butylacetate, methylether of propylen glycol.

Colour : purple grey.

Finish : gloss.

PREPARATION

Apply on a free from grease (Degreaser Nautix SD), tarnished, rinsed with fresh water, clean, dry and bare polyester surface.

Please refer to recommendation sheet.

APPLICATION

Shake and stir thoroughly before use.

Do not apply under 10°C.

Application methods : brush, roller, airless spray gun (by airless or brush, it is possible to apply a 150 microns wet coat with no crawling).

Recommended number of coats : 4. It is not necessary to sand between 2 coats.

Thinner-Cleaner : Nautix D.P. - Clean tools immediately after use.

Recommended wet coat thickness per coat : 70 microns.

Recommendations :

Use in a well-ventilated area, otherwise use mask (EC Standard: AB).Wear imperatively protective goggles and PVC gloves.

Any opened can should be used immediately. Store in a cool and well-ventilated area. Recommended shelf life : 6 months.

Put the quantity you need in a container and close the can immediately.

S 35 : This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way.

In case of contact with skin, take off immediately by mechanical means and wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
