SOLVENT - DEGREASER

DESCRIPTION

Nautix SD is especially recommended for the preparation of surfaces to be painted, mainly GRP new hulls and to remove all traces of oil, grease and waxes. Caution : do not use this product on hatch cover and porthole.

COMPOSITION

Xylene, methylethylcetone, butanone.

PREPARATION - APPLICATION

Wear protective goggles; avoid contact with skin; substrate is cleaned with fresh water and detergent added (Nautix Boat cleaner or Multi cleaner), diluting according to dict, rinsed and dried. Apply Nautix SD with a clean, non fluffy cloth. Let the product drying through evaporation before painting.

Self-ignition : 460°C

SAFETY DATA

R 11 : Highly flammable.

R 36 - 37 : Irritating to eyes and respiratory system.

S 9 : Keep container in a well-ventilated place.

S 16 : Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking.

S 23 : Do not breathe gas, vapour, spray.

S 24 - 25 : Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

S 26 : In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

S 33 : Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

S 43 : In case of fire , use sand, chemical powder or an alcohol type foam.
